Itervia Tech is an operator-led co-build studio. We take equity in the companies we co-build — and we show up as operators in the foxhole, not observers on the board. Operational and technical leadership, product strategy, investor readiness, and governance — built in from day zero, not patched at Series A.
From Latin iter (journey, path) + via (road, way) — the iterative path forward. Why Co-Build Exists
Every year, founders raise pre-seed checks from investors who deploy the capital — and then wait for quarterly updates. What they don't get is an operator who owns execution risk: someone who can architect the platform, build the compliance posture, and has sat in the diligence seat for a top-tier PE firm.
The result is what the market quietly calls Zombie Startups — companies with a check and a vision but no enterprise-grade technical leadership, no compliance posture, and no real path to institutional capital. They don't die fast. They exhaust founders for years before failing. The Co-Build Studio model exists to close that gap.
Board oversight. Quarterly updates. No operational involvement.
90-day cohort. Demo day. Execution is the founder's problem.
Internally-generated ideas. Outside team brought in to execute. 40–60% equity taken upfront.
Founder's idea or ours — doesn't matter. We build together. CTO/CPO-level depth from sprint one.
The Differentiation Ledger
Studios reject external ideas; VCs reject internal ideation. Rigid origin gatekeeping.
Agnostic to where the spark originates. Internal R&D and external intake operate in the same model.
Studios take 40–60% equity. VCs leave founders with capital but zero operational support.
Clear off-ramps: Exit as Founder, Exit to Equity, or Transition to Core. Equity built on delivered value.
Post-facto vetting. Diligence done to the startup by an outside investor — after the damage is already in.
Built-in hygiene from day zero. Governance, IP assignment, financial discipline, and M&A-readiness are formation requirements.
Most incubators rent junior agency developers who leave behind technical debt and no architectural ownership.
Executive-level technical leadership (CTO/CPO) driving platform architecture, compliance posture, and AI capability from the first sprint.
For Founders
We don't write a check and wait for a board update. We take equity in exchange for what we actually bring — operational depth, technical leadership, and the M&A-readiness infrastructure that turns a promising company into an institutional-grade one.
We take equity in exchange for operational capital — not advice. We're in the foxhole: writing architecture decisions, driving investor narrative, standing up governance.
We're selective because we're committed. When we say yes, it's a long-run bet — not a cohort check.
Platform architecture. AI/ML strategy. HIPAA and SOC 2 from day one. Investor narrative and data room built in parallel with the product — not assembled the week before the pitch.
We've sat in the diligence seat for KKR, TPG, and Bain Capital. We build companies that pass what we know they look for.
Pre-seed and seed stage. Founders who have lived the problem — not chasing a trend. Ideas can originate with you or within the studio; we're agnostic to the source.
Primary domains: Healthcare & Life Sciences, Vertical SaaS/AI, LegalTech, RegTech, FinTech, and InsurTech.
A note on selectivity: We take a small number of ventures at a time. We don't do cohorts. We go deep — and we stay in. Every engagement compounds the studio's operational intelligence, making the next build faster and sharper. If you're a founder with a hard problem, a real origin story, and the resilience to build something that lasts, we want to hear about it.
Studio Thesis
The most durable companies aren't found at a pitch competition — they're built from lived experience with problems that are hard, real, and chronically underserved.
We start where the pain is. Not from a market map or a trend report, but from direct, lived experience with problems that matter to real people — and that the market has consistently failed to solve.
We build in domains where AI is genuinely transformative — not as a bolt-on, but as core infrastructure. Platforms that synthesize complexity, reduce friction, and make the hard things manageable at scale.
The studio model gives us time, iteration, and operational depth. We co-found, co-build, and stay in — because the best companies are built with patient, experienced hands, not rushed toward an arbitrary exit.
We partner with founders who have lived the problem they're solving. Authentic origin stories aren't just narrative — they're the surest predictor of the resilience and market empathy it takes to win.
How We Work
A co-build studio is not a fund. We don't write checks and wait for quarterly updates. We bring the full capability stack required to build a company — product strategy, engineering execution, go-to-market, investor narrative, governance, and M&A readiness — to every venture we co-build.
Every engagement compounds what we know. When a company exits, the operational intelligence stays in the studio — making the next build faster, sharper, and cheaper. That institutional memory loop is the defensibility that capital-only models can never replicate.
We come in early. We stay hands-on. We build what passes PE diligence — because we've run it.
Legal entity, cap table, governance, IP assignment, and compliance posture — built correctly from day one, not patched at Series A.
Platform architecture, AI/ML strategy, MVP scoping, and engineering execution — production-grade standards from the first sprint.
Narrative, financial model, data room discipline, and PE-grade diligence posture — developed in parallel with the product, not after the fact.
Clinical, enterprise, and channel relationships built through decades of credibility across healthcare, fintech, and private equity.
The Founders
Itervia Tech was co-founded by two operators with complementary depth across strategy, engineering, and enterprise execution — who have built together before, and who build to last.

30+ years across software engineering, product strategy, platform architecture, and M&A advisory. CEO of Ortulum Advisory Partners. Certified Lead Practitioner leading product and technology due diligence for firms like Blackstone, KKR, TPG, and Bain Capital. IBM Watson Health. Harvard Medical School AI in Health Care. MIT Sloan.

25+ years building and leading high-performance engineering organizations across HealthTech, FinTech, and SaaS. Built a HIPAA-compliant, serverless AWS healthcare platform from zero to production. Scaled engineering teams 6x. MENSA. Based in São Paulo, Brazil. Hands-on at the code level, credible at the board level.
